Chapter 139: Lupin pack - 34
Silas’s POV
I was so scared that I couldn’t even put it into words. But there was one thing—I saw only eyes, no face.
If it were a living person, there should have been a face, but there were just eyes surrounded by black fog. I couldn’t even tell if it was a man or a woman.
"Mr. Damon, believe me, I saw someone with my own eyes, but that thing didn’t have a face or a body—just eyes."
"Sure, I believe you. But let’s get out of here right now."
We glanced around, ready to leave, but there was no car, no bus—nothing. It was already night, and darkness covered everything.
And as if our problems weren’t enough, we heard a howling sound. Great, now we were in trouble from both sides.
We both looked around to find where the sound was coming from. Then we realized it was right behind us. When we turned, there was nothing—just bushes. And then, out of nowhere, a wolf jumped out.
But these wolves had red eyes, glaring at us like they could kill us at any moment. They were growling fiercely, saliva dripping from their mouths.
I glanced at Damon and grabbed his hand, thinking that running away might be the only option.
We couldn’t fight those wolves. If Kael were here, it would be a different story. I’ve seen him shift before; he could handle this.
