Damon’s POV
Last night, while I was working, I suddenly got a message from my assistant saying that someone from the Ironclaw Pack wanted to meet me. That’s Silas’s pack, right? I was about to ask who it was when Nekol called and said that Silas had gone missing.
Hearing that, I forgot everything else. Negative thoughts started hovering over me. I know Silas—he’s not the type to go anywhere without saying anything.
When I met Nekol, he showed me a message from Silas, saying he was at a convenience store.
Why? Why did he go to a convenience store—and alone? I know Silas is strong enough to take down even an Alpha, but he doesn’t realize how dangerous the people lurking around can be.
I quickly asked the security department to check his location, but his mobile was switched off. When we checked the CCTV footage of the convenience store, I saw Theron was with Silas. Seeing that, I sighed in relief. I don’t know why, but I felt reassured. How and why was Theron with Silas? Did they plan to meet there, or did Silas really just go there to eat and bump into Theron? But then again... how does he even know Theron?
I kept all my questions to myself and relaxed. If Theron is with Silas, that means nothing bad will happen. But what’s strange is that Theron has never shown interest in an Omega before. And now, not just him—Lysander and I are showing interest in Silas, too. It’s not like he’s the only Omega around. Even in our house, we have our mates, but I’ve never felt this way about anyone before.
And looking at Silas’s personality, I know he wouldn’t let just anyone touch him. But Lysander was holding his hand and hugging him... and Silas didn’t refuse. It was like they were dating. That’s why I asked him.
As soon as I asked, he quickly glanced at me.
"No, we’re not. But why are you asking?"
Hearing his answer, I felt calm. So they’re not dating. Earlier, I was feeling anxious, but now... I don’t know why, but I started smiling like an idiot—like some teenage boy.
