Chapter 35: First day of shoot
Silas’s POV
I gazed at Lysander as he spoke. His expression was unusually serious, lacking the usual playful glint in his eyes.
And Damon was here the whole time... I’ll thank him later.
It was already late at night.
"Nekol and Lysander, you both should go back now," I said.
But Lysander sat beside me on the bed, crossing his arms. "No, I’m not leaving. I’ll stay here with you."
"Lysander, listen to me—"
He wasn’t the type to back down easily. In the end, the three of us talked for a while. Nekol eventually left, but Lysander stayed and slept on the couch.
Thankfully, I got discharged the next morning. My shooting was scheduled to start tomorrow, and I was worried about how long I’d be in the hospital. But it was good that I recovered quickly.
The rest of the day, I mostly lay in bed, getting as much rest as possible. By the next day, I felt completely fine.
Finally, the day arrived when I would stand in front of the real camera and shoot my scenes. Nekol came to pick me up in the afternoon. I was ready to go, but I didn’t see Lysander anywhere. His room was locked too—I guessed he hadn’t returned to the dorm.
