Chapter 30: Lazy pig
Silas’s POV
I was so happy that Director Wang liked my acting—everyone else did too. But when Director Wang glanced at Ciel’s chair and I saw that name, my heart started racing.
Just then, the door slammed open, drawing everyone’s attention.
"Sorry, everybody, I’m late," Ciel said, panting. He was wearing fancy clothes, and his face was covered in makeup, but I still didn’t like him. His brown hair, his entire presence—everything about him disgusted me.
"Don’t you know the correct time? Why are you late even for a meeting? Don’t tell me you don’t value time at all."
"No, sir! It’s not like that. I value time the most," Ciel replied, his voice smooth like honey. Man, he was talented. This was exactly how he used to talk with Dad and Zarek—and now here too.
"If you really valued time, you would’ve come sooner, not late. I don’t like irresponsible people like you. And don’t just stand there—come and sit down fast! We’re having a meeting here, not a feast."
I was watching Ciel as he sat down. The moment his eyes landed on me, they widened in shock—he clearly hadn’t expected to see me here. His face twisted with anger.
I turned my attention back to Director Wang. Since Lysander and I were the main leads in the drama, his entire focus was on us—especially me. He had so much hope for me.
"Shooting will start two days from now," Director Wang announced. Everyone nodded in agreement.
After the meeting, people started leaving one by one. As I stepped outside, saying goodbye to Director Wang, I saw Ciel standing a little farther away. He looked furious, as if he was waiting to talk to me. I was ready for it too—I wasn’t going to hold back anymore. Just as I was about to walk toward him, Lysander suddenly wrapped his arm around my neck, and Nekol came up beside me.
