Chapter 21 - 20 - How To Fight Multiple Enemies Simultaneously
Why was Lev able to survive until the world was almost conquered by demons in his previous life?
The reason was not because he knew that this world was similar to the novel Hero's Destiny. If he only relied on the information in the novel, he would have died when the world experienced a major catastrophe that was not recorded in the novel, because there was already the word 'The End' at the end of the story sentence.
Aside from his motto—run if you encounter an enemy you can't defeat, and surrender if you can't run—there was one more thing Lev relied on. That one thing was his personal strength.
Not some overwhelming power like a mage capable of toppling mountains, nor the Aura of a supreme knight who could split the ocean with a single swing of his sword. Instead, it was something as simple as a technique for fighting multiple opponents at once.
Given that he had been through countless battlefields, this technique had saved him many times.

One by one, the soldiers launched their attacks.
Lev analyzed their approaching footsteps. He observed the movement of their arm muscles to gauge how many seconds remained before their strikes landed. He even pays attention to the direction of their gaze and the rhythm of their breathing.
Lev gathered all that information in just the blink of an eye.
'Lucky for me, that guy isn't the first to charge.'
The person Lev referred to was Pox, the one with the highest stats.
