While Jisun and Chanwook defended the main entrance, Minho and Sora were right at the heart of the bloodbath. Reina stayed in the rear, awaiting the arrival of Umbra’s elite troops.
Dozens of demons emerged from beyond the horizon and swarmed toward Minho.
The towering man skillfully wielded his massive axes, cleaving through the creatures one after another. Each of his swings claimed multiple lives.
For the first time in a long while, Sora too stepped into real battle, summoning her blood weapon.
"Kenketsu: Dreadmourne."
A colossal, slightly curved sword with tangled feather-like carvings materialized in her hand. Despite its immense size, the weapon moved effortlessly in her grasp, as if she were holding a leaf.
"I spent so long believing I was weak," she murmured as she rushed to aid her comrade. "Wallowing in self-pity, crying day after day... But none of that matters now!"
She leapt onto the demons’ heads, slicing through several of them in a single sweeping motion. Her eyes now wide open, she moved with a new confidence and agility.
"Minho, I’ll watch your back—go unleash your full strength!"
