"This black mist is really weird." Johnnie looked back at the mist behind them. It didn’t spread into the Universe Continent or the Land of Confusion—it just formed a zone like a barrier between the two places.
Nalorin·Sylvia scanned the area carefully. After making sure there was no danger, she asked, "Master, are you close to Lord Grayden?"
Johnnie shook his head. "No, I just finished some quests for him. Why do you ask?"
"There’s something off about Grayden." Nalorin·Sylvia hesitated, then added, "I sensed a faint evil aura on him. It feels a lot like the demonic energy sealed by my family."
Evil aura?
Johnnie was puzzled—he hadn’t noticed anything strange about Grayden. But Nalorin·Sylvia was a Divine powerhouse. She wouldn’t be wrong about this.
Stellar City was only a level 4 city, and Grayden wasn’t especially strong. It was odd that no other races or powers had taken over the place.
Besides, Maiev had mentioned earlier that there was a Divine powerhouse in the lake at the city governor’s mansion—someone who didn’t belong to this world.
