He’d already tested it—the mechanical battle mechs and those crimson beetles didn’t just lack psychic abilities, they didn’t even have souls.
During the last Beast Wave attack, Johnnie had tried using soul-based attacks on the Mechanical Race, but they were completely unaffected.
Unless, of course, the souls of these Mechanical Race beings vastly surpassed his own. But that was obviously impossible.
So, whoever was controlling the Mechanical Race had to be some kind of special powerhouse with immense psychic strength.
Johnnie glanced at the rugged man in front of him and asked again, "Do you know where the Mecha Divine Nation went?"
The man pointed toward the forested mountains behind the beginner’s village and replied, "They flew into the woods. But that place is off-limits—I’ve tried everything, and there’s just no way to get in."
The Dark Forest?
Johnnie realized the path to the Dark Forest only opened up at the Chinese City. Regular players could only access it through there.
But he had the Illusory Body skill, letting him pass through any barrier at will. Whatever seal they had here wouldn’t stop him.
