Chapter 96: Sword Immortal Advancement, Subduing the Yett Family
"Okay, thanks, Johnnie." Joseph didn’t refuse this time. He had already decided to devote himself completely to Johnnie. Improving his strength would also help Johnnie more effectively.
Luke and the others had originally been worried that Johnnie might be upset, but when they heard him say that, they finally felt at ease.
"Where’s Sam?" I didn’t see Sam. I was surprised and asked.
"Sam?" Joseph finally realized and said, "This guy probably didn’t pass the test, right?"
"Maybe it’s possible." Johnnie glanced at the time. Three hours had passed, and people who hadn’t shown up yet had likely passed the first phase of the trial — the Sword Questioning Test.
But there was still the second phase — the Understanding of the Way of the Sword. At the very least, they needed to grasp the Intent of the Sword to successfully change class into a Sword Immortal.
Sam wasn’t a martial arts disciple, and he had never been exposed to the Way of the Sword before. He might not pass the test.
"Let’s wait a bit longer." Johnnie said, with nothing to do, and continued to wait.
Joseph and the others nodded and didn’t leave either. They also wanted to see the result. If Sam could pass the test and change into a Sword Immortal, it would be a good news for them.
Time passed quickly. Two more hours went by, and the Comprehension of the Way of the Sword ended.
