Chapter 10: Treasure Map, Tyrande’s Arrival
Cox snapped out of his shock, calmed his excited emotions, and said, "That's quite impressive. The Wecheat family is one of the three major powerhouses in East Sea City. They're the local telecom company's agents, and their financial strength is immense. You'd better be careful with them, boss."
He and Wecheat were from the same city, and they had some past business dealings. He understood the guy's personality well.
Inept and petty, with a grudge against anyone who slighted him. If not for his wealth, people like him wouldn't have anyone following them.
"Hmph, just a local tyrant. I don't take him seriously." Johnnie scoffed. When the special features of Horizon were finally noticed and started affecting the real world, the ones who would be hit hardest would be the big families and conglomerates that were slow to react.
In his previous life, he hadn't even heard of the Prince Guild. It was clear they had also fallen behind, overwhelmed by the game's impact.
Since this guy was a wealthy tycoon, it was time to take advantage of him.
Johnnie pulled out four pieces of equipment from his bag, all powerful white-quality gear.
Among them were an iron bow and a pair of daggers, both with hidden attributes.
He said, "Help me handle these. Sell them to Wecheat, and the higher the price, the better."
"White... white-quality gear..." Cox's voice trembled, and it took him a while to process what Johnnie had just said.
The others stared at the white equipment with wide eyes, constantly swallowing their saliva.
