'Bummers.'
Apparently, no one wanted to accept my request for a cup of tea; they all had their own "responsibilities" or something like that. Did they really think I didn't already know they just were scared of me? Doctor Fate seemed ready to say yes, but he had received a signal directly from his goddess that made him refuse and then teleport away, heading for a separate realm where even I couldn't see inside.
'So the strength of the gods varies from universe to universe, good to know.' I thought as I started walking up into the sky.
The higher I rose, the more darkness devoured by my body, Gotham's light dimmed, clouds disappeared, the stars seemed like they were dying, and finally, with one last step, I wasn't in Earth's dimension.
I looked around, seeing an endless plain of skulls, the sky completely black as nothing lived inside this realm, sounds died, oxygen didn't survive, and bad intentions couldn't exist.
Even if this realm should inspire fear, it felt strangely welcoming to me, a warmth you can only feel after the end of a long day.
A mana I had directly interacted with since my arrival in this universe seemed to fill this dimension, and unlike the one in my home universe, this one didn't retract from my touch, controlled by someone to not let me interact with it. It welcomed me, a longing it had until the previous moment resisted.
The moment it touched my finger, it happened; a new realization brought by this mana dawned on me.

I started pulsing, my soul screaming in agony, I didn't show in my face, an endless cycle of destruction and creation happening inside of me as two sides of the same coin started interacting with each other.
Something also started happening to the realm around me; the endless death realm was being devoured by something else as life forms started appearing.
An endless expansion of trees, animals, and light devoured half of the realm, stopping exactly under my feet.
" So my guess was right, brother." A feminine voice said from the other side of the dimension.
She was the standard goth, wearing all dark clothes, long black hair, an ankh necklace, and around her eye was an eye of Horus symbol.
" Brother?"
" Yes, brother, hasn't it always felt like your connection to nature and living beings missed something? A piece of essence that couldn't be given by anything, anything aside from death itself."
" Is that what you did? You gave me a piece of yourself, destroying your realm, why?"
" Because you are my brother, and I like family." Her smile was warm, even though she is supposed to be the incarnation of the end of all things, she still smiled like a sister meeting her brother after a long time.

My voice came out different; gone was the voice of Adrian, replaced by something ancient, actually, Adrian had never existed in the first place; it was a mask, a persona created by a being that wished to feel mortality, even though mortality had been created by him in the first place.
" Brother, I am happy to see you finally return among us, the one that made everything exist, the one that made everything possible, the one that made concepts bow, ideas bloom, and life hope, you are the first of us, and will be the last one of us, I am happy to meet you again finally..."
The other appeared all around me, the realm splitting into several sides: Dream, Death, Destiny, Desire, Despair, Delirium, Destruction.
The voice fused into one as the last missing piece of this, and all universes came into being.
"... Creation."
