He deleted the number on the screen and then entered another one—Rachel Bailey’s. Rachel Bailey and Julia Bluen were good friends; if Julia had really gotten married, Rachel would definitely know.
He had to find out whether Julia was truly married or not. If she was, then he wouldn’t feel so guilty anymore. Marrying someone else so quickly would surely mean she had betrayed their love, just like him. Since neither of them had remained faithful to their love, he wouldn’t feel any remorse towards her. But if she wasn’t married and was just lying to him, then he would win her back. As long as she was willing to forgive him, he would divorce Diana immediately.
To him, Diana Powell was just a stepping stone.
Rachel’s phone connected quickly, but she didn’t answer. She undoubtedly recognized his number; Rachel was fuming at him and naturally didn’t want to take his call.
