Chapter 1273: You Sure Think a Lot
"This isn’t about usefulness or not; rather, I want to tell Miss Wilson a big secret that you don’t know," Chloe White said confidently.
"A big secret?" Sophie Wilson frowned slightly, trying hard to think. What secret hasn’t Charles Seymour told her yet?
Nothing at all; the two of them have been together in that shady company for so long, and other trivial matters can be ignored.
Major matters... she really can’t think of any big secret he hasn’t shared with her.
Last time, because of the issue with Bao’er, she really gave him a hard time, bit him, oh, and punched him twice.
He wouldn’t make the same mistake again, right?
"That’s right, it’s a big secret. One that he’s kept from many people," Chloe White said intentionally mysteriously, successfully piquing Sophie Wilson’s curiosity.
"Alright," Sophie Wilson said with a smile, "I’m indeed curious now. What big secret does he have that could test our relationship?"
In this world, perhaps no couple could be as frank as they are.
Even matters from the previous life were confessed; probably no one else could do that.
"Then does Miss Wilson dare to go somewhere with me?" Chloe White raised her chin slightly, provocatively.
"Of course not a problem," Sophie Wilson said with a smile. "Miss White can drive ahead, I’ll follow."
"No, let’s take Miss Wilson’s car together," Chloe White didn’t drive over herself, intentionally blocking Sophie Wilson, knowing she’s been busy with hospital matters lately.
"Fine," Sophie Wilson was indifferent.
After the two got in the car, Chloe White sighed lightly and said, "I’ve known Charles since childhood."
"Oh," Sophie Wilson responded casually, "yet he doesn’t like you; clearly, you must not really attract him."
Originally intending to tell Sophie Wilson she was childhood friends with Charles Seymour, Chloe White was almost choked by Sophie Wilson’s remark, spitting up blood.
This person... is really exasperating.
"Miss Wilson, do you deeply understand Charles?" Chloe White asked curiously, "How many years have you known each other?"
"The years aren’t important, as long as the understanding is deep enough," Sophie Wilson said casually while driving.
"How deep is your understanding then?" Chloe White asked provocatively, "Do you know about Charles’s family? Do you know what he looked like as a child, what he liked to eat, wear, play with, and what schools he attended?"
"These... what do they have to do with us getting married?" Sophie Wilson questioned Chloe White bizarrely, "I only need to know his size."
As soon as she spoke this rather cheeky remark, Chloe White’s cheeks turned as red as if they were about to burst, as red as dripping blood: "You, you, you... how can you be so shameless?"
Sophie Wilson looked at Chloe White puzzledly, "How is mentioning his size shameless? Don’t I need his size to buy clothes for him or something?"
Chloe White was stunned: "You’re talking about..."
"What else?" Sophie Wilson asked incredulously, then suddenly realized: "Oh..."
This deliberately prolonged sound made Chloe White so embarrassed that she wanted to find a crack to hide in.
"Miss White, you sure have a vivid imagination," Sophie Wilson chuckled softly, "and you still have the nerve to call me shameless?"
"Tsk tsk tsk... People’s hearts are indeed complex. Clearly, it’s your own lack of purity, thinking in the wrong direction."
