Stephen Wilson glanced at the ignorant Lily Warren, who was cluelessly shouting, and said irritably, "The contract was signed by Sophie with President Payten; he only recognizes her!"
What’s so special about her?
Lily Warren muttered to herself and then, with a commanding presence, ordered, "Sophie Wilson, call President Payten and tell him you’re stepping down, letting your sister take over the cooperation."
"Make it clear to President Payten that your abilities are less than your sister’s; he will definitely agree."
Lily Warren’s words elicited a mocking laugh from Sophie Wilson: "Do you think President Payten is a fool?"
"What deals Grace Wilson negotiated and what I negotiated—do you think President Payten can’t see the difference?" Sophie scoffed, "If you treat President Payten like a fool, this cooperation might just be a one-time deal."
"A one-time deal? I think you’re just..."
"Let Sophie handle this project," Stephen Wilson interrupted Lily Warren, "Grace still has her hotel project to manage, and it’s not good to leave it unattended."
Lily Warren looked at Stephen Wilson in shock; he was actually speaking up for Sophie Wilson?
