Chapter 74 Eating Is Important
With a pop, the Little Demon vanished without even a wisp of smoke, disappearing like a bursting bubble.
Sophie Wilson immediately became compliant, nodding in agreement, "Who dares to snatch? Even if they did, I’m not leaving."
Apparently, Charles Seymour was very satisfied with Sophie’s answer. The storm stopped, and the temperature rose again.
After getting seated, Charles ordered, "Drive."
Sophie wondered if it was an illusion, but did she just see the driver’s hand tremble slightly when shifting gears?
Fortunately, the car drove smoothly all the way, so Sophie didn’t think much of it. Maybe she truly was mistaken.
Upon arriving home, dinner was just being served. After washing hands and changing clothes, it was time to eat.
"How’s the company been lately?" Charles asked casually.
