Florence Fuller had a vague impression.
Sometimes she would run into him at the cafeteria, catch sight of him in class, and even more often, he came to this coffee shop to work part-time; this guy came quite often.
Thomas Tennyson, holding a bouquet, walked up to Florence Fuller and, gathering all his courage, said, "Florence Fuller, I like you, be my girlfriend!"
The group that came with him cheered, even her coworkers were taken aback.
The words "Say yes to him" echoed continuously throughout the shop.
Florence Fuller looked calmly at the boy holding the flowers.

She didn’t know this boy at all, not even his name, and yet he was here holding flowers, confessing, and asking her to be his girlfriend.
Considering her current life of rushing over to work part-time right after classes to support herself, she barely had time for a relationship.
The voices urging her to say yes gradually dimmed, and the coffee shop fell quiet.
Florence Fuller removed her mask, sighed deeply, and looked at him with calm eyes, "Sorry."
Thomas Tennyson’s face fell immediately.
