"What do you think about what just happened?" Florence felt a bit uneasy; she cared about what Abigail thought of her.

"Do you think... I bullied Clara?"
"Did you?" Abigail asked.
Florence shook her head and said, "I did call her a lunatic, but that’s because she was flaunting her dress in front of me."
"She said that the family that adopted me couldn’t afford such a nice dress and that I’ve never worn one. But my foster parents are good people. They love me very much, and I have an older brother and sister. Although they can’t compare with the wealthy Fuller Family in affording expensive clothes, I always have new clothes to wear."
Abigail looked at her innocent eyes. It was clear from her words that she grew up in a pampered family environment.
But now she’s back to a family driven by interests and wealth.
"Aunt Monrose believes you," Abigail said.
