Chapter 103 - 102: Memory Episode (3) First Encounter
"Stay at home properly these days." Michael Fuller looked at Florence Fuller: "I’ve already contacted the school for you. The Fuller Family is not like the Shaw Family. Don’t embarrass me!"
Florence Fuller didn’t respond and headed upstairs straight to her room.
Laura Yates was about to say something but was silenced by Michael’s glare: "You can’t even manage a child at home, what are you capable of?"
Laura’s heart felt a pang, and Michael left with his suit jacket.
When Florence ran out yesterday for so long without coming back, it was impossible not to worry. She hadn’t dared let Michael find out, claiming she was in her room during dinner, then secretly sent someone to look for her.
But she couldn’t be found at all.
Who knew she’d be brought back this morning and bumped into Michael.
Florence’s future life had already been arranged; the Fuller Family enrolled her in a private elite academy, with a car to take her to school in the morning and one to bring her back in the afternoon.
Her life was extremely monotonous.
This Saturday, she hesitated for a long time but finally asked the butler to prepare a fruit basket for her. She intended to thank Aunt Monrose.
"Should I arrange a car to take you there? It’s quite a distance to walk." Uncle Lewin, a very good servant of the family, had been taking good care of Florence since she returned.
"No need, I can walk there." She took the fruit basket, intending to head out, when Laura Yates came in from the backyard and caught her: "Where are you going?"
