Chapter 50 - s: You still want to kill me
Florence Fuller inexplicably pulled her arm back, but before she had taken a few steps, Luke Gardiner sat down on the ground and slid down, gradually stopping.
The two of them looked at each other from a distance.
Fortunately, he had protective gear on, and judging by the way Florence looked at him, he wasn’t hurt. He took off the gear from his legs and tossed it in front of Florence, exclaiming furiously, "You’re just hoping I’d die so you can become a widow, huh?"
Florence picked up the protective gear and threw it back at him directly: "Falling like that, you certainly won’t die."
"I came here just for you! During the New Year, I ran over here with you, and you’re ignoring me completely. I can’t ski, so I specifically bought equipment just to follow you, and this is how you treat me... How could you treat me like this."
Maybe the skiers couldn’t understand his words, but his tone was as dramatic as someone throwing a tantrum or threatening to hang himself, as if Florence were some heartless scoundrel, drawing the attention of the staff outside.
Even some tourists turned their heads toward them.
Florence scooped up a handful of snow and hurled it at his face. With his hat and goggles, the snow couldn’t hit his face directly, yet Luke clutched his face as if Florence had actually hit him, wailing: "You’re hitting me! You’re trying to kill me."
"Shut up!" Florence truly wanted to kill him then.
"Pull me up."
