Chapter 36: Everyone Plays Their Own Game
The night descends, and the city lights are dazzling.
The entire city, losing the clarity of day, enters a state of trance at night.

Florence Fuller was led by the staff to a private room, where Chloe Quinn had been waiting for some time.
Hearing the commotion at the door, she put down her phone: "Why are you only arriving now?"
"Traffic jam along the way." She had already sped up to get here.
Inside the private room, there were only the two of them, with plenty of alcohol on the table. Just as Florence Fuller sat down, Chloe Quinn handed her a glass: "You’re late, punish yourself with three cups."
Feeling the buzz, she didn’t refuse and swiftly downed three glasses before getting up to mix a drink for herself.
"Are you just calling me out for drinks tonight?" Florence Fuller glanced at her, busy with the task at hand.
Chloe Quinn, who had already had a few glasses before she arrived, sat on the floor, leaning against the sofa: "I’m a bit excited thinking about flying to the US tomorrow to catch that pair of cheating scoundrels who stole my money."
Florence Fuller chuckled, went over to sit beside Chloe Quinn: "When’s your flight tomorrow?"
