"He deserved it!" Old Mr. Gardiner glared at Luke Gardiner, "See if you dare next time."
Luke Gardiner caught Florence Fuller’s gaze, recalled the words she had just spoken about having no relation, and suddenly smiled, his eyes turning serious, "Grandpa, this time I truly know I was wrong. Rest assured, I will change! From now on, I will be with Florence, love her, protect her. I’ll let you hold your great-grandchild soon."
Old Mr. Gardiner: "..."
Grace Linney: "..."
Florence Fuller: "...!!!"
She felt so disgusted that goosebumps rose on her skin.
"It’s good that you know you’re wrong." Old Mr. Gardiner sighed, "You two young ones must live well from now on. Go apologize to your wife."
Luke Gardiner looked at Florence Fuller, his brows filled with deep affection, "Wife~ I was wrong. From now on, we will be together properly, I will listen to you, it’ll be good for us to start anew."
He’s definitely doing this on purpose to disgust her!
Florence Fuller shivered slightly, forcing a smile that didn’t reach her eyes, stood up, and left the room.
Luke Gardiner lowered his eyes, feeling somewhat sad, "She doesn’t want to forgive me."
