The sun was beginning to dip by the time Lin Feng and Jiang Yue’er stepped out of the restaurant.
She exhaled slowly, still digesting both the meal and the conversation. "I feel like I just had lunch in a movie."
Lin Feng chuckled, shoving his hands in his pockets. "Only difference is, we didn’t cut to credits after dessert."

She glanced sideways at him. "You really just... knew a guy with a spare music studio?"
"Not really. I just asked around." He looked casual, but his tone was oddly warm. "Turns out the world answers faster when you ask with a bit of weight behind your words."
Jiang Yue’er didn’t respond immediately, but her gaze softened.
Soon, a sleek black Mercedes—low-key but luxurious—pulled up to the curb.
