"This level of war is too dangerous. I’m sorry, but I can’t not agree to this cooperation."
Upon hearing Roland’s response, Igor was somewhat shocked. In his opinion, Roland should not have reacted that way.
After all, it had been a very rare opportunity, and how could nobles let go of any chance to rise?
For nobles, increasing their rank was of paramount importance. Any opportunity that arrived needed to be seized with everything they had.

The reason he wanted Roland to join was because he had heard of Roland’s feat of slaying the advanced mutant monster, the Flaming Saber Tooth Tiger.
With such combat power joining them, their safety on the battlefield would have been greatly enhanced. Secondly, his wealth would also have aided them in times of need.
"No need to consider! My wife was about to give birth soon, and I didn’t want to go out."
Roland waved his hand, refusing to succumb to temptation. He also advised them not to take such a big risk that could lead to death.
