Roland, having laid out the plan for the village’s advancement, had prepared a list of tasks on a large sheet of parchment that he pinned to the wall of the study room. The list focused on the majority of things for the people.
- Build Roads
- Buy Good Quality Seed Crops
- Create Jobs
- Build Good Houses
- Construct Walls
- Dig a Canal
It was a huge task.
With the list prominently displayed, Roland turned to Roan and Priya. "Before you go, let me give a brief on our next steps."
Roan and Priya nodded, attentive.
"Roan," Roland began, "Our immediate priority is to find merchants who can supply us with high-quality seed crops and building materials. The roads and houses need to be constructed with the best materials we can afford to ensure durability. We also need to source seeds that are resilient and suited for our soil to improve crop yields."
