Chapter 5:Wedding Night**
The wooden heavy door creaked as Roland pushed it open, disclosing the bridal chamber dimly lit. A soft golden glow from flickering candles placed strategically throughout the room bathed the room.
Janet sat on the bed’s edge with her fingers twisting a loose thread of her dress; her eyes darted towards Roland who entered, and she felt her heart pound in her chest.
Roland closed the door behind him, his gaze never leaving Janet’s. He could sense her anxiety, and his approach was deliberate, slow, and reassuring.
As he reached her, he gently cupped her face with his hands, his thumbs brushing against her cheeks.
Roland smiled inwardly.
’Since it’s a feast. I can finally lose my V-Card...’
Thinking about this, Roland sighed.
Why is his life so different from other transmigrators? By this age, they might have already conquered half of the world whereas he had yet to have his first time.
Janet felt Roland soft touch, blushed.
"Shh, it’s alright," he murmured, his voice calm and soothing. "You don’t have to be nervous."
Janet nodded slightly, though she was tense. Roland lowered his face and touched her lips softly with his own.
