Chapter 7: Points
Through the dim light in the dark room, Ian read the main goal multiple times and sighed. Then he looked toward Nyanthara and tried to ask a question, but was interrupted. Nyanthara looked at the beautiful scenery in front of her and said.
"This place is very beautiful...especially that forest"
A confused expression appeared on Ian’s face. Then he gave her a strange look.
"The window is closed."
She met his gaze with annoyance. Then waited for a moment and said.
"Of course, I know that. I am not as stupid as you, mortal...Seeing through something as trivial as a window isn’t a problem for someone as powerful as me."
Ian stayed silent for a moment and shook his head. With the shakiness, her insults disappeared as well.
No matter how she sees it, the goddess is an arrogant person and she thinks of him as a being of lower status. Nothing good will come from debating with her about her beliefs.
After calming down his mind, he asked the most important questions he wanted to ask.
"What is this...main goal?"
Nyanthara looked into his eyes with a neutral expression and stepped away from the window. Then she walked toward the wooden table and picked up a goatskin parchment. Then she started reading it.
