Chapter 88: Obey

Zayn ran his hand down her cheek, watching the fear continue to build. He wanted her to be afraid. To fear him. Only then would she be obedient. Only then would she listen to him.
He trailed his hand down to the collar of her dress, feeling the fabric beneath his fingertips. In one swift move, he ripped off her dress.
The fabric tore with a sickening sound that echoed through the cave, leaving her exposed. Lily struggled to cover herself with her hands, curling into herself, wishing it was all just a bad dream.
“Look at me,” Zayn commanded.
Lily refused. She shook her head as she squinted her eyes in fear. Lily kept telling herself it was all a bad dream. One that she was certain she would wake up from soon enough.
All she needed to do was wait.
Annoyed by her disobedience, Zayn growled, “I said look at me!”
Lily was snapped back to reality. He grabbed her roughly by the neck, forcing her eyes to meet his.
“You will do as I command. Get on your knees. Now.”
Lily felt him tighten his grip around her neck, squeezing her windpipe. Unable to breathe, she gasped for air. Her world began to spin. When she opened her eyes, she was beginning to see stars.
Without any other choice, Lily followed his command.
