Chapter 32: A love scandal
Seeing that Julia knew his name, Kevin scanned her up and down, but he still could not recall her from his memory.
He simply replied coldly, "I don’t remember."
Facing his icy attitude, Julia consoled herself despite being angry. She then broke free from the bodyguards’ hold, placing her hands on her hips as she loudly replied.
"Even if you don’t remember me, it’s fine! I’m telling you now—my name is Julia Rossi, and I like you. I’m going to pursue you!"
Everyone present was stunned. The employee’s eyes widened into saucers, looking at Julia as if saying, "Goodness me, don’t you think you’ve already caused enough of a ruckus? You actually told President Harper straight to his face that you’re going to pursue him?"
The bodyguards exchanged looks. They had seen many women interested in their president, and they were mostly those who only dared to sneak a few glances or exchange a few words with him. Eventually, his cold demeanor would push them away.
It was their first time seeing a woman so boldly express her affection for Kevin.
What would Jessie think about this?
Kevin didn’t dwell as much; he frowned, finding Julia very noisy as he turned to look at the nearby employee.
"Today’s project is finalized. You just need to bring the contract to the Harper family for signing."
With that, he got up to leave.
