Chapter 155 - 65. Water Flow
The business in the store was quickly settled, and though some materials for the class were purchased there, it wasn’t enough. Professor Fisher needed to buy some materials for his own use, and with some public funds still remaining, he decided to mix public and private interests, also covering the carriage fare to fully utilize the school’s public funds.
But since they had set out around ten in the morning, it was now nearly noon. Professor Fisher decided to take Moli for lunch first before continuing their stroll. There actually was a basement level in this market, but the items sold there wouldn’t catch Moli’s eye, mostly slaves and stolen goods, so Professor Fisher had no intention of going there.
"Redstone Powder is mainly used for engraving in Flame Magic," he explained, "but contrary to the magic knowledge you’ve learned before, it’s not used to enhance the magic’s potency but rather to weaken it."
"Oh, to weaken it?"
"Yes, because the effects of Flame Magic usually far exceed the needs of human use, making it inconvenient. Hence, Redstone Powder is added to isolate the strength of the Reverberation, making its reaction less intense."
Moli, holding a pile of Magic Materials, listened intently with sparkling eyes as Professor Fisher explained the magic knowledge, completely immersed in the world of magic, and didn’t realize that Professor Fisher was using her as a free laborer, happily carrying the heavy materials and following him.
However, she seemed to have good physical strength, holding all those items without showing any signs of strain, quite effortlessly.
"Alright, I think that’s enough for today’s lesson. Let’s find a place to have lunch. I’ll treat you. What would you like to eat?"
