Having suffered a setback, she finally knew how horrifyingly powerful Lu Ye was, so she wouldn’t dare to remain in the same spot and tackle him. Lu Ye managed to get close to her earlier because she didn’t expect him to be so powerful, and she was caught off guard as Lu Ye had flared up suddenly.
Two figures rapidly flew across the sky. During the pursuit, spells and Saber Lights clashed, making the place boisterous. The insectoids which had been attracted by the fluctuations of Spiritual Powers were destroyed by the repercussions and exploded into Blood Mists before they even got near.
Lu Ye could no longer shorten the distance between them as there was a huge gap between their powers. Although he had activated Bloodrage, there was a limit as to how much his power would be boosted. It wasn’t like his power would increase endlessly after he used Bloodrage. He had already expected it anyway.
Still, he had contended with his opponent to his heart’s content. Although he had managed to slash at Yu Daiwei several times, he didn’t get to hurt her. However, he had achieved his goal as he had a better understanding of his current power.
Naturally, he had some trump cards he hadn’t used. The situation was awkward for him because he couldn’t shorten the distance between them. Nevertheless, he had a chance to do that if he activated the Blood River.
If he used the Blood River Technique with blood essence, it would be more powerful than an average Blood River. Once he dragged Yu Daiwei into the Blood River, he would be at a huge advantage.
When he flared up and got close to Yu Daiwei earlier, it was the best chance to use the Blood River Technique.
