Despite the heavy downpour, lightning, and thunder, Byron stood straight, looking confident and convincing, while the artificial lake was churning with huge water splashes.
On the other hand the soles of Shen Yi’s feet were still numb.
Even though he used to work standing up in the coffee shop, it wasn’t like today, like standing for so long without taking a break.
In the morning he went to the observation deck to investigate the villa, received George and Su Ling at noon, read a book in the library in the afternoon, and confronted Byron here in the night.
Numbness spread throughout his feet.
