She selected some dried radishes and preserved vegetables based on their quality.
“Peaches for sale, plums for sale.” It was the early days of April, just the season when plums and peaches adorned the branches.
Su Xiaofeng headed toward the voice and saw a middle-aged man selling plums and peaches from a basket.
The peaches were vividly red and looked very appetizing.
“Uncle, how much are your peaches and plums per pound?” Xiaofeng asked the middle-aged man.
“Peaches fifty cents, plums twenty cents.” Peaches were cultivated less frequently locally and were a new variety, thus a bit pricier.
