Since they had already communicated in the 'Jikibi Space,' Karin wasn't surprised at all by the leader's late-night visit.
She looked at Uchiha Shinji and asked, "Leader, can the surgery be performed now?"
"Yes."
As Uchiha Shinji prepared the surgical tools, he glanced at Karin out of the corner of his eye.
Though Karin appeared to be unafraid on the surface, Uchiha Shinji still caught a fleeting moment of fear in her eyes.
Once everything was ready, Uchiha Shinji slowly said, "I've already done the experiments. The risk of the surgery is controllable. Your cell tissue is much stronger than I expected. Plus, with the powerful vitality of the Uzumaki Clan, even if there's a strong rejection reaction during the surgery, I'll have enough time to perform a cell removal operation."
"I understand."
Karin suppressed her fear.
She had great confidence in her leader's abilities. The last eye transplant surgery had gone smoothly, so even though she was deeply afraid, she chose to face the surgery head-on.
After instructing Karin to lie down on the bed, Uchiha Shinji injected the specially prepared fusion fluid into her body.
