Chapter 256: A little Invasion
"Oh, you guys are here!" Dave said as he came forward to hug them all.
"It really is a magical place," Emma said as she pulled away from the hug. "As if you haven't seen such things," Dave said with a roll of his eyes as they all nodded.
"So, these four are our girlfriends?" Frigga asked as she looked at the four beautiful women.
"Yes, they are," Dave nodded, smiling.
Frigga turned to the women. "You should teach Thor a few things," she said, a playful glint in her eyes.
Dave just smiled, clearly enjoying the moment.
After some light conversation with Frigga, Dave and his girlfriends found themselves in one of the guest rooms in Asgard, settling in for a moment of rest before the chaos began. The room was adorned with regal Asgardian decorations, soft golden light streaming through tall windows that overlooked the vastness of the realm.
"So, you called us here because the Dark Elves are going to invade?" Trish asked, folding her arms and leaning back against the wall. She seemed unfazed by the grandeur around them, always direct and straightforward.
Dave nodded, his expression serious. "Yeah, though they're weaker than you guys might think. Not a huge threat, but now that I've got this," he said, holding up the Aether, the swirling dark substance that had once been the Reality Stone. The Aether pulsed in his hand, its dark energy swirling like smoke, crackling ominously.
Emma raised an eyebrow, curious. "What exactly is this 'Aether' you keep talking about? Is it like the Tesseract?"
Diana, who had been quietly listening, finally spoke up. "Yeah, what does it do, exactly?" Her voice was calm, but she was clearly interested in the answer.
