"Soon, Perry," she muttered, tightening her gauntlet straps. "You'll realize Oscorp doesn't need redemption. It needs leadership."
She walked toward the Dimensional Access Gate—a clean, purely technological marvel that operated using quantum resonance fields and micro-singularity stabilization rings. Nothing magical about it. All based on theoretical but plausible science.
As she keyed in her target—a nearby alternate Earth where another Eve Osborn ruled—she whispered:
"Time to merge ideas."
And with that, she stepped through.
Back on the Helicarrier, Dave scrolled through SHIELD's threat database with a bored expression.
Then he stopped.
"Lady Goblin: Status – MISSING. Location – Untraceable. Note: May have accessed interdimensional tech from classified Oscorp blacksite."
"Well, that's annoying," Dave muttered, leaning back as the screen blinked out of focus.
"She fled before we could even reach her?" Perry frowned, arms crossed, eyes narrowed behind her lenses. "Any idea where we can find her now?"
Dave rolled his neck and exhaled. "Don't ask me. In my world, Osborn's still just a sick old guy. He's working on a cure for the Goblin Serum, not building dimension-hopping gear and upgrading himself into techno-tyrants."
