Dave blinked, then chuckled. "Perry Parker? No way."
He turned to look at her directly. "In my world, Spider-Man is still a kid. Smart, awkward, hasn't even gotten his spider powers yet. But you—" he gestured lightly, "you look like you've already been through some stuff."
Perry tilted her head, saying nothing, though her eyes narrowed behind the mask.
Furiosa folded her arms. "She doesn't talk much. Doesn't trust easily. Especially not dimensional drifters who show up unannounced."
Dave smirked, not offended in the slightest. "Can't blame her. I'd be cautious too if some 'other me' popped into my world dressed like a badass and talking about Darkhold magic."
Dave leaned forward slightly, his voice dropping into something more serious. "Still... Dimensional Drifters, you say. Like I'm not the first?"
Furiosa's eyes narrowed just a bit. "You're not."
She tapped on her tablet, bringing up a hologram of various figures—each wearing some variation of a spider suit.
"There were others. Mostly Spider-Men... or Spider-Women. They came from different universes. It was chaos for a while. We called it The Web of Madness."
Dave raised a brow. "Catchy. Sounds like a bad trip through the multiverse."
"More like a war," Furiosa said grimly. "Some of them were hunted, others hunted. Each one was dragged here through strange magic—sometimes pulled in by force."
