"Sticks, let me tell you something," Dave said as he unsheathed the same Unique-grade sword he had used to kill his first monster—this very troll in Satisfy.
"There is nothing that stood against me for more than 10 minutes. Yet, back when I was just starting out, I fought desperately and took exactly 21 minutes to kill it. I wonder how long it'll take me this time."
Sticks checked Dave's level and was stunned to see that he was only level 1.
"He started his journey by slaying a newborn killer?" Sticks thought. Trolls were known for their insane regeneration, allowing them to recover from even fatal wounds. Yet, Dave started by slaying such creatures.
17 minutes—that was Dave's new time.
Sticks watched as the troll lay there, covered in deep slashing marks all over its body.
"Tch, it still took more than 10 minutes," Dave muttered.
