Chapter 116: Destroyer II

Sif, on the other hand, shook her head in frustration. Determined, she moved swiftly, scaling a nearby house. As the Destroyer focused on Thor, Sif reached the top, and with a leap, she launched herself into the air. Her spear pierced the Destroyer's neck, pinning it down. The light emanating from the Destroyer flickered, and its movements slowed as it struggled.

Thor watched, relieved to see Sif's successful strike, but Sif wasn't finished. She summoned more power, using her strength and magic to twist the spear, causing the light within the Destroyer to flicker and wane. Standing on its chest, she readied herself for another strike, but just as she did, the Destroyer retaliated. A powerful blast of energy shot from its hand, sending Sif flying backward.

Thor rushed toward her, with a worried expression. "Sif, it's enough," he said, his voice hoarse as he knelt beside her. She was coughing, clearly injured, but still alive.

"No, I could still fight," Sif muttered, her voice weak as she tried to sit up.

Thor shook his head firmly. "No, you did what needed to be done. You're alive and you need to be."

He stood and pushed forward, determination in his eyes. The Destroyer was preparing to fire another laser blast, but Thor raised his hand, stopping it with sheer willpower. "Enough. This is my fight," he said, his voice loud and commanding.

"Let them go," he added, turning back to Sif and the others. "They're innocent. Your fight is with me."

Meanwhile, Natasha, standing nearby, spoke up. "That robot is powerful, but I could easily defeat it. I've seen its power."

Jane, Darcy, and the others looked at her curiously. "Then why don't you go fight it?" Darcy asked.
