Chapter 105: Returned to Marvel
Soon, Rhodes also left, leaving Dave alone with his girlfriends. As he glanced at the four women, he chuckled to himself. "It's like I'm collecting Pokémon," he thought, amused.
His chuckle didn't go unnoticed. Diana narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "He's definitely thinking something perverted," she remarked, and the others nodded in agreement—except for Hancock.
"I will aid him in any of his perverted fantasies," Hancock declared confidently, causing Trish, Emma, and Diana to facepalm in unison.
Dave shook his head, amused. "Why don't you ladies take Hancock with you and help her get accustomed to this place?"
Diana's eyes lit up. "Girls' night, huh? Let's do it!" she said, pumping her fist enthusiastically. The others nodded in agreement, though Emma had to step in and grab Hancock, who had been attempting to sneak back toward Dave.
"Come on, Boa," Emma said with a smirk. "You'll have plenty of time with him later."
With that, the group of women left, leaving Dave to his thoughts. As the door clicked shut, he chuckled softly. "They're something else," he muttered to himself. Then, tilting his head slightly, he added, "Aren't they?"
A ripple in the air caught his attention, as though the very fabric of space was distorting. From the shimmering disturbance, a figure emerged, stepping through as if walking from a mirror.
"You were able to sense me?" the Ancient One asked, lowering her hood to reveal her calm, wise expression.
"It wasn't easy," Dave admitted, gesturing toward a nearby chair. "So, to what do I owe the honor of a visit from the Sorcerer Supreme?"
The Ancient One regarded him with curiosity. "Hmm, you know about me," she mused before taking the seat.
