Chapter 1: Reincarnation
In the middle of an extravagant hotel suite, a young man lay sprawled on the massive bed. His eyes shot open, wide with disbelief, as he bolted upright, scanning his surroundings.
"This... this wasn't a dream?" he mumbled to himself, his voice shaky, still trying to process what had happened. Slowly, he got out of bed and made his way toward the large mirror on the wall.
Staring back at him was someone he barely recognized. Blonde hair. Blue eyes. Fair, almost porcelain skin. He traced his fingers over his reflection, eyes lingering on the strong, defined features. His build—muscular and toned—was far more athletic than what he was used to.
"Blonde hair, blue eyes, and... a body like this? This can't be real," he muttered, admiring the new, almost perfect form that stood before him.
He couldn't help but smirk. "I look nothing like the college kid I was back then."
Sitting on the edge of the bed, he mumbled to himself, "So... I was really reincarnated?"
As the realization fully sank in, a wave of joy surged through him. "Yes! YES!" he shouted, his voice echoing in the lavish suite as he reveled in the thrill of a second chance at life.
"Damn," he muttered with a laugh, shaking his head. "And here I was thinking all of that was just a dream."
He paused, then called out in a low voice, "System, are you there?"
A digital voice rang in his mind:
[Yes, host. Congratulations on unlocking memories of your previous life.]
