"Besides this?" Jih Heng leaned back and played with the folding fan in his hand, asking indifferently, "Do you have any feelings for Yin Zhili?"
His movements were casual, yet there was an almost imperceptible chill in his tone. "Yin Zhili seems quite decent, and I’ve heard that your family quite likes him," Jih Heng said. "You don’t like him at all?"
He was never such a boring person. Even when he found out she was Xue Fangfei, regarding the past and grudges between her and Shen Yurong, Jih Heng didn’t ask further, as if he didn’t care at all. Had it been someone else, they would have probably sought answers through indirect queries. Jih Heng was different; he seemed to have no curiosity about those who were of no concern to him, and so, he often appeared indifferent, just watching from the side.
Yet today, he had unexplainably asked many questions, which showed that he took great interest in the Yin Household.
"I don’t have any fondness for him at all," Jiang Li replied. "The Crown Prince seems like a good person, and to be fair, he is much better than Shen Yurong. But perhaps because Shen Yurong has made me wary, the better the person is, the more suspicious and cautious I become, and naturally, I can’t say whether I like or dislike, feel moved or unmoved by them."
Her words were sincere and indeed reflected her true thoughts. Jih Heng listened and suddenly asked, "Are you implying that I’m not a good person?"
