Revenge: A Path of Destruction

Chapter 19: Battle against a wolf (2)

The sky above roared in protest, clouds swirling as if drawn by the violent forces clashing below. The earth trembled beneath each exchange, the very land cracking under the sheer force of the two combatants.

Alex and the Thunder Wolf blurred through the battlefield, their movements too fast for the untrained eye to follow. Each time they clashed, a deafening boom erupted, sending shockwaves that tore apart the ground, uprooted trees, and sent massive boulders hurtling through the air like mere pebbles.

The wolf lunged, its maw glowing with crackling blue lightning.

Alex met its charge head-on, his silver katana colliding against its monstrous claws, sparks cascading in all directions. The impact split the ground beneath them, forming a deep crater. The aftershock rippled outward in waves, leveling everything in its path.

They broke apart for a mere instant—only to collide again.

A single exchange turned into a dozen, then a hundred, each strike sharper, faster, deadlier. Alex’s blade cut through the wind like a storm while the wolf’s claws and fangs moved with raw, primal power. Their battle reshaped the terrain, turning the once-dense forest into a ruined wasteland.

Even miles away, those within the Earth Clan strongholds could feel the quakes. Warriors gripping their weapons looked toward the horizon, their expressions filled with dread and awe.

The Earth Clan Head hovered just beyond Nyxara’s black thunder barrier, his sharp gaze narrowing as he sensed the full extent of the battle. The sheer destructive force of this clash was something only two legend-rank beings should be capable of—but there was something different. Something...off.

Back on the battlefield, Alex skidded, his boots digging into the ground as he came to a halt. His grip tightened around his katana, its blade humming with power, and the two small bells on the hilt jingling eerily in the howling wind.

The Thunder Wolf stood tall, its breathing ragged, scorch marks and shallow cuts riddling its massive body. It growled, lowering its stance, and its crackling aura flared up again.

Alex exhaled slowly.
