The Rebirth Of The Beast Tamer

Chapter 118: The Primordial Rift’s Wrath 2

His concussion flared, his vision doubled, but Rhoam’s roars kept him grounded, the panther’s charge crushed another titan, its core shattered under his iron weight.

The riftborn titans were relentless, their segmented forms was regenerating with unnatural speed, their roars amplified the psychic visions with every strike, each attack was a test of the trio’s endurance.

Another titan lunged at Kelvin, its molten claws tore into his shoulder, the pain a white-hot lance that nearly dropped him to his knees, blood gushed down his arm.

He cursed under his breath, channeling a fiery vortex and Xerion’s flames roared through the gauntlet, incinerating the titan, its core exploded in a shower of sparks that lit the molten pools.

Lyra dodged a claw swipe, but a titan’s talon raked her arm, reopening her wound and drawing a cry of pain, her gauntlet flickered as blood streamed down her sleeve, her legs buckled under the strain.

Salaris’s talons ripped through the titan, saving her in a blur of feathers and claws, the beast’s core bursted in a violet flash, but Lyra’s vision swam, her strength faded with each heartbeat.

Darius took another hit, a titan’s claw stroke his leg, his concussion flared as blood dripped from his brow, his soulstone trembled in his shaking hand. Rhoam’s charge crushed the titan and its core shattered but Darius’s legs buckled, blood pooled beneath him and his breath ragged with pain.

"We are getting slaughtered!" Darius shouted, though his voice was cracking, the visions shoke his resolve as Veyra’s red eyes loomed in his mind, her whisper was cutting deeper than any claw. "Their army is too damn strong!"

Kelvin’s vision became blurred, Veyra’s visions merged with the rift’s pulse, echoing... You are nothing and you will fail.

His hands trembled, the image of his father’s burning form flashed before him, but he shook it off, his voice was steady despite the agony coursing through his body.

"Focus on the cores! We clear the gorge!" He pointed to the glowing cores in the titans’ chests, pulsing with dark energy, the key to their destruction, his arm shoke with the effort to raise his weapon.

Lyra nodded, her eyes was fierce despite the blood streaming down her leg, weaving a multi-layered shadow cage that trapped four titans, its tendrils was tightened with crushing force, though her gauntlet flickered, her strength waning.
