Kelvin’s gauntlet formed a blade that sliced through a sprite’s vines, while Xerion’s flames burned away their regenerative tendrils.
A sprite’s thorn grazed Kelvin’s arm, drawing a sharp sting of blood, but his bond with the Xerion dulled the pain, and he pressed forward.
Lyra and Salaris darted through the swarm and the raptor’s talons striked with lethal precision as Lyra’s shadow runes wove a net to bind the sprites.
A vine lashed at Salaris wing, but Lyra’s amulet flared and healed her as Darius hurled a soulstone, its explosion scattered the sprites. Rhoam’s claws tore through a sprite’s core, and the pack dissolved into motes of light.
The Genesis Guardian rose from the jungle’s heart—a colossal creature of bark and glowing sap, its limbs pulsed with regenerative energy, it bloom a radiant orb at its core.
The trio attacked the Genesis Guardian as a unit, their synergy rune amplified their Convergences.
Xerion’s flames seared the guardian’s vines, weakening its regeneration. Salaris’s talons struck its joints and disrupted its movements, while Rhoam’s charge cracked its bark and exposed the bloom.
Kelvin leaped, using his soul light blade he pierced the core, and Lyra deftly claimed the bloom, its warmth pulsed in her hand like a living heart.
The jungle faded, and the arena returned, the crowd erupted in roars of approval. Kaelus inclined his head slightly and said. "Genesis is mastered now prepare for Ruin."
