Chapter 13: Ian’s Cards
"Hmmm... There's something wrong." Garry looked at Ian. Now that he thinks about it. He realized that Ian had the blood quality of a lesser vampire yet his body size was just a little shorter than a true vampire. This made Garry unable to figure it out. 'What the hell? What is he? A lesser vampire or a true vampire? Or did he experience some kind of mutation as a lesser vampire?'
'If I didn't have the special ability to determine the quality of blood. I would have mistaken him for a true vampire...' Suddenly, Garry's expression turned serious. 'No, I must eliminate him now or he'll become a future threat to our race. In the lesser realm, he already has this kind of abnormal body. What's more, if he really becomes a true vampire? Or even a higher vampire? Won't the sky limit his limit by then?'
At this moment, Ian didn't know that he was targeted by Garry, significantly reducing the possibility of him underestimating him.
After all, one can't really blame Garry as Ian was really abnormal as a vampire due to his body customization system.
"Be careful, the Walking Flare seems to have his sight on you." Barseagle reminded. "Although I don't know why. You must stay vigilant, okay?" He looked at Ian once more.
Hearing this, Daniel, Kate, and Liz became worried for their friend. However, they are also powerless against true vampires. Now, they can only hope that their captain would somehow manage to hold Garry, the Walking Flare.
"Got it." Ian simply nodded.

"I'll be responsible for Barseagle. You two focus on that giant vampire beside him. As for the three others, ignore those wastes. They're just lesser beings."
