Chapter 6: Body Size Increase
Ian made sure he wasn't being followed. A few minutes later, he appeared in front of a river under the night. The sound of owls and the roaring of beasts could be heard from time to time.
At this moment, the cold breeze of the night caressed Ian's skin making him shudder. 'What the fuck? I'm a damned vampire. My body temperature is supposed to be naturally lower. So why do I still feel cold?'
He felt his pulse with his fingers. Naturally, he doesn't have one. His heart doesn't even beat nor his blood flows throughout his body. Vampires do not need oxygen to live at all. 'Hmmm... Wait a minute. What do I look like?' He walked inched closer to the calm surface of the lake and saw a young man with pale complexion and red pupils. Ian touched his face gently. 'Do every vampire have red pupils?'
