Su Shi: "I agree with some of Xiao Wu’s opinions. I’ve noticed there’s a commonality between the two different assessments of the Survivor Alliance: the establishment of a class system where one can rise or fall. Perhaps those at the bottom have to risk fighting zombies and earn the worst food, but they have room for upward mobility. It is precisely because those at the bottom have less resources that they are motivated to climb upwards."

Su Shi continued: "A rigid class system is terrifying, but a fluid one that allows for movement up and down can enhance internal competition, which is not necessarily a bad thing for humanity. If the system were like a small tyrant ensuring fairness and justice, where everyone got the same food and resources, then what motivation would there be to develop the community?"

Stone looked at Xiao Wen: "Xiao Wen, what do you think?"

Xiao Wen replied: "It’s like a company. The boss eats meat, the upper management drinks soup, and the lower levels drink water. The key is whether there is a fair competitive path for upward mobility at the bottom level; if there is, then that’s good."

Xiao Yi joined the discussion: "I disagree. What you described sounds nice, but the reality doesn’t match up. Suppose the small tyrant has five upper managers who can be promoted or demoted, right? If they can’t be demoted, with everyone’s rank rising, more and more people will end up in upper management. If they can be demoted, would the five really be willing to move from soup to water? The result is obvious, there would inevitably be turmoil."

Xiao Yi: "I think we could join the Survivor Alliance, but it should be a relationship similar to that between the medieval kings and nobles in Europe. The railway bridge territory is ours, how we implement policies is our business, and we have our own armed forces.
