Nightmare and Lin Meng subsequently took over the Fortress Company in Day After Tomorrow City. Nightmare, being a bona fide agent, managed to crack open the safe after some fumbling and found some pistols and ammunition, arming herself and Lin Meng. She then began searching for information on Blood Meng, who was somewhat of a public figure with records in the agency’s database. Nightmare didn’t stop until she found several SIM cards associated with Blood Meng, four of which were linked to him on the first day.
Nightmare activated each mobile phone through the Fortress satellite network, eventually making contact with Lin Wu.
Nightmare was also frank, stating that they would evacuate Day After Tomorrow City tomorrow night and head to the island to see if they could sneak onto a Fortress Company boat. Their method of retreat was water-based, risky but not highly dangerous.
Lin Wu was candid too, briefly explaining the process, "I took Blood Meng to Central City Hospital, but whether he is still alive, I’m not sure. Why do you care about Blood Meng?"
Nightmare: "That’s none of your business, how many people do you have over there?"
Lin Wu: "You’re not planning to go to Central City Hospital to find Blood Meng, are you?"
Nightmare answered: "Yes."
Lin Wu asked: "How will you get here?"
