As the countdown ended and the portal disappeared, Stone said, "We can’t leave now. Plan B—we’ll pass by an electronics store on the way, they sell radios there."

Snow Egg asked worriedly, "Are those for sale?"

Stone replied, "Normally, no, but as long as the money is right, it can be arranged."

Shana said, "Everyone, stay sharp. I believe they will join us soon. Let’s go."

Without Maya, the Plan A to leave the city was basically doomed. Without Maya’s leadership, it was difficult to leverage the team’s efficiency, making the likelihood of surviving 180 days quite low. Even so, the team was still undecided on whether to leave the city or stay, and the delay of Double Forest, especially Lin Wu, made the escape plan even more uncertain.

Stone had prepared a seven-seater luxury van. The car drove out from the villa, and the roads were still fairly calm. After leaving the community and turning left to the electronics store, Stone and Shana got out of the car and walked quickly into the store. Stone approached the service counter and said, "I’m here to pick something up."

The receptionist glanced at the backpack on the ground beside him and said, "The boss said you need to add another thousand dollars."

"Or what?"
