Chapter 837 - 374: Underground Base (Part 3)
Lin Wu walked onto the residential road and split up with Lin Meng to progress slowly, methodically killing one zombie after another. Turning left to the second floor of a building, the road extended straight into the second-floor corridor. The corridor had a door designed for gentlemen, and Lin Wu reached into the iron gate to pull the bolt, pushed open the iron door, and entered the house.
The second floor had five rooms, three of which had open doors, and they were empty. Lin Wu knocked on the closed door: "Fortress Agent, please open the door."
That door didn’t open, but the one opposite suddenly did, and a man in a white lab coat with glasses stepped out. The hallway was narrow, less than a meter separated the two, and Lin Wu quickly turned his gun barrel: "Don’t move, it’s not your turn yet."
The man with glasses said, "This room is empty." Having said this, he stepped forward, Lin Wu stepped back, and the man with glasses pushed open the door. Lin Wu looked inside and indeed, there was no one there.
Lin Wu said, "Come with us."
The man with glasses nodded: "Thank you." He followed Lin Wu out onto the road.
Lin Wu said, "Stop."
The man with glasses turned back, puzzled, and Lin Wu said, "Lin Meng, search him."
"Is that okay?" This is a handsome guy, how could I embarrass myself by laying hands on him?
Lin Wu said, "If you don’t search him, I will just have to kill him."
